TaeKwon-Do International (TKDI) is an association of professional TaeKwon-Do schools that are united under the leadership of Grandmaster Suk Jun Kim, 9th Dan, first-generation student of General Choi, Hong Hi and pioneer of Original and Traditional TaeKwon-Do.
TKDI member schools are dedicated to furthering the growth of original and traditional TaeKwon-Do through high standards of technical ability, comprehensive curricula and professional and ethical conduct for the mutual benefit of all members. Manifesting the original tenets of traditional TaeKwon-Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit, in all areas of business and practice, sets TKDI member schools apart. TKDI Master Instructors are not only accomplished professional instructors - they are also distinguished by their diverse educational and professional backgrounds including law, medicine, finance, architecture, engineering, and the performing arts. Their TaeKwon-Do practice serves as a framework for successful habits. Consequently, TKDI member schools are distinguished by uncommonly high standards of professionalism in their business practices, technical ability, and personal conduct among their students. TKDI seeks to expand membership to other professional, educated, and dedicated school owners and practitioners.
