 Glen Ridge Taekwon-do, Montclair, NJ competed at the Founder's Classic presented by the World Chun Kuhn Taekwondo Federation on Saturday December 2nd in Roseland, NJ. All students medaled in multiple events including first place in many age brackets for patterns, breaking and sparring. GRTKD black belts also competed for the first time in Team Forms and won first place with a very good effort in Kwang Gae. School owner Master John Meany, Owner and Head Instructor of Glen Ridge Taekwon-do and TKDI's Chief Instructor said, "Congratulations to Caelyn, Sam and Margaret on the 1st place in Team Forms! I'm very proud. I'm pleased that a total of fourteen of my students took part." He went on to say, "Competition is one of the ways you can challenge yourself and expand your taekwon-do experience and knowledge just by getting out there. Well done to Instructor Dover and Instructor Novak, as well all of the other competitors!"
