On Saturday November 18th, Oneonta Taekwon-do hosted the S. J. Kim Inter-school Championship, in Oneonta, NY. The event saw more than 50 competitors from Oneonta and other TKDI member schools from New York City and New Jersey, as well as invited guest schools from the area, compete in patterns, board breaking and free-fighting. The competition provided an opportunity for students and black belt judges, new to competition, to get valuable experience for future events. All participants competed fiercely and in good spirit. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2018 at TKDI sanctioned competitions and our annual boot camp weekend, to continue improving their traditional taekwon-do practice together.
