Teen Night at Master Marr's Taekwon-do, Shaker Heights, OH

Master Marr's Taekwon-do in Shaker Heights, OH held Teen Night on Friday, October 3.  Current teenaged students were encouraged to bring a friend to the evening Family Class.  Afterward, they watched a movie, ate pizza, and played various board games.  "Teenagers are generally a hard demographic to reach," says owner James Marr, "but they are also very influenced by their peers.  Once they see their friends doing it, they realize Taekwon-do is cool."  While gaining new students through this event would be a bonus, it's also a chance for current students to interact in a social setting.  Master Marr plans to repeat the event several times throughout the year.
